What is Drasanvi Phaseolamin?
Faseolamina de Drasanvi is a nutritional supplement of Phaseolamin (Phaseolus vulgaris L.), in vegetable capsules.
The recommended dose is to take 2 capsules a day before a high carb meal, although the maximum dose is 4 capsules a day.
Properties of Phaseolamin
Phaseolamin is a substance that is found in white beans. It was discovered in 1975 and is an active principle that is currently being studied in order to identify all of its benefits for human health.
The main characteristic of Phaseolamin is its Amylase inhibitory activity, which is an enzyme that intervenes in carbohydrate digestion. These capsules have 8000UI of inhibitory activity.
A study carried out on 60 overweight volunteers in which they were supplemented during 6 months with Phaseolus vulgaris extract and compared with placebo group. Results proved that Phaseolamin supplementation significantly reduced body weight, suggesting fat mass loss in favour of maintained lean body mass. (1)
