Ultra DHA by Gold Nutrition incorporates a 100% natural dose of fish oils of unrivalled purity, specifically sardine and anchovy in order to provide the organism with a high concentration of DHA (docosahexaenoic acid). The molecules of the fatty acids that form triglycerides have the ability to preserve their freshness for longer, which helps to keep the product in perfect condition to provide better effectiveness when consumed.
Ultra DHA Gold Nutrition has a pleasant orange taste and does not have the unpleasant fish odour that appears with the administration of other omega-3 supplements.
DHA is the most complex form of Omega-3 and is difficult to obtain in our diet, as only a few food items contain it in any significant quantity.
- Ultra DHA is much recommended for pregnant and breast-feeding women, as it is an essential component of maternal milk, and new-borns use Omega-3 DHA for the brain, the nerves and development of the ocular tissue. It is also important for preventing post-natal depression.
- Ultra DHA can help reduce high triglyceride levels (known medically as hypertriglyceridemia). It can also slightly increase HDL cholesterol (the good cholesterol').
- Various studies suggest that fish oil (which contains DHA, together with other active components) can prevent cardiovascular diseases (including heart attacks and strokes).
- DHA is an indispensable nutrient for maintaining the good working order of the brain and sight in adults. Various studies also indicate that low DHA levels in blood plasma are a risk factor for developing degenerative brain diseases such as Parkinsons, Alzheimers and dementia.
