Pea Protein Isolate by HSN Essentials is a food powder made of pea protein isolate.
It is pea protein isolate of vegetable origin which is perfect for those who follow a diet that does not include products of animal origin. However, it is also advisable for those who do not follow these habits, but who also want to keep adequate protein levels in their diet while following a healthy lifestyle.
When the consumption of pea protein isolate is combined with an adequate diet and a workout plan, it contributes to the maintenance/growth of muscle mass.

It does not have cholesterol nor lactose since it is a protein isolate which has undergone an elaboration process in which it is possible to eliminate these unwanted elements almost completely. Moreover, Aspartame and Acesulfame-K have not been used to sweeten the product. It is a sugar free protein with a high vegetable protein content.
The sources that have been used for its production are completely GMO free. A Genetically Modified Organism are organisms whose genetic material has been artificially manipulated in a laboratory through genetic engineering, or GE. This results in an unstable combination of plants, animals, bacteria, and viral genes that do not naturally exist or that are produced through traditional cross-breeding methods. They have been totally discarded from this product, since it has not been proven if they are completely safe or if they are harmful in the long term.
It is also regarded as an excellent alternative for those who are allergic to milk and its derivatives, or those who should not take whey protein nor casein, people with lactose intolerance, and those vegans or vegetarians that have experienced symptoms related to soy intolerance, as well as gluten intolerant people. It is also easy to digest and it does not cause swelling, a common side effect of many other protein powders.
It also offers an excellent aminogram with BCAAs (Branched Chain Amino Acids).
There are several possibilities when it comes including this nutrient in our diet. We can make protein shakes with water or vegetable milk, which will be an excellent post-workout.
We can use it at any time of the day if we need a protein supply. Thus, we can cook different fitness recipes, such as:
- Mixed with Rice Flour
- Mixed with fresh cheese or yogurts
- Protein sponge cakes
It can be purchased from the HSN Essentials series. It is available in a 2Kg or 500g bag format that closes with a zip in the following flavors: chocolate, vanilla, and neutral.
- Anyone who wants to meet the daily protein requirements through a vegetable source.
- People with lactose intolerance.
- Vegetarians and vegans.
Excellent for vegetarians
Chris R, 28/03/2018
I follow a strict vegetarian diet, and this product helps me to meet my daily protein requirements, although it cannot be compared to the nutritional values of a whey protein
I use it to cook pancakes, cakes, and all kinds of sweets, and also for my morning shake before breakfast, I mainly use the neutral flavour to cook and the vanilla one for my shakes, love them both!
Suitable for those with lactose intolerance
I am allergic to lactose and I am glad that I can still enjoy a good protein. I personally mix the neutral flavour with fruit for my shakes and it is really good
