Soy Protein Isolate by HSNessentials is a food powder made of soy protein isolate.
It is a protein of vegetable origin which is specially aimed at those who follow a vegan or vegetarian diet, but it can also be used by anyone who does not follow a specific diet or for those who want to follow a healthy lifestyle.
This type of protein is an excellent alternative to whey protein shakes, as well as other sources, such as meat or egg albumin.
It has a complete amino acid profile, which means that it provides the whole amino acid profile (essential and non-essential). Thus, its biological value is the same as that of an animal protein, which is an exclusive feature of soy within the vegetable proteins group.
When we combine the consumption of a protein isolate with an adequate diet and a workout plan, they will contribute to the maintenance/growth of the muscle mass.
Another important aspect is the type of protein. The Isolate has been refined in its production process, practically removing all the fat, which results in a purer product. Moreover, it has not been sweetened with Aspartame nor Acesulfame-K.
Despite its vegetable origin, it is regarded as one of the most popular protein sources, since it also supplies the essential amino acids. Each serving provides more than 20g of proteins, which means that it has a high protein content
Soy protein isolate by HSNessentials is a food made of vegetable proteins without sugar, since its composition does not provide more than 0.5 per 100g of product.
The raw ingredients used are from GMO free sources, these are known as genetically modified organisms which means that their genetic material has been artificially manipulated in a laboratory by genetic engineering. This results in an unstable combination of plants, animals, bacteria, and viral genes that do not naturally exist or that are produced through traditional cross-breeding methods. They have been totally discarded from this product, since it has not been proven if they are completely safe or if they are harmful in the long term.
This food does not have fat since it provides less than 0.5 per 100g of product.
We obtain 4g of fiber per 100g of product, which means that soy protein isolate by HSNessentials is a source of fiber.
We have several options when it comes to using soy protein. We can make protein shakes by mixing it with water or vegetable milk. This will make the perfect post-workout shake. You can also increase the amount of protein by adding some to a bowl of cereals.
We can also cook recipes with soy protein, like muffins, pancakes, cupcakes, or sponge cakes for example.
Soy protein can be combined with practically any type of product. Some of them could be:
- Vegetable proteins (if we follow a vegan or vegetarian diet) or any other protein source
- Amino acids
- Hormonal precursors
- Multivitamins and minerals
Soy Protein Isolate is available in a 2Kg or 500g bag format that closes with a zip in the following flavors: chocolate, vanilla, and neutral flavor.
- Anyone, but specially those who follow a vegetarian or vegan diet
- People with lactose intolerance
Great product for those who cannot use whey
I suffer lactose intolerance and I cannot enjoy the benefits of whey, so I tend to use vegetable proteins. This one is not completely neutral, but it goes unnoticed when it is combined with other ingredients, and it is quite versatile.

I use it for almost everything I cook, glad that we vegans can also enjoy a protein that is not obtained through the suffering of other living beings.
Great product, but whey is still better
I actually bought to try it since I have always used the whey protein. It is quite good overall, even though it cannot compare to the whey, specially when it comes to the flavor, there should be more choices apart from the neutral one. I will stick to the whey.
Good source of protein
Taste nice, also good only with water. It would be better in plastic box not in bag anyway.
