3D Protein by R Nutrition is the only powder protein with a sustained release that combines native whey protein, micellar casein and egg protein in a ratio of 45:45:10 to provide an optimal profile of essential and non-essential amino acids and a sequential release rate.
What are the properties of 3D Protein?
3D Protein by R Nutrition includes a 45% of native milk whey obtained by a special process that extracts pure whey protein molecules directly from fresh milk instead of obtaining them through the production of cheese, this way the protein is not damaged or denatured.
Native whey is obtained through one of the most costly and time-consuming dairy processes, especially when done in accordance with strict quality control procedures. There are very few dairies in the world that have the capacity to carry out this procedure, for this reason native whey is rarely used in protein powders.
Moreover, native whey protein is only obtained from milk generated from grass fed cattle and that have not been treated with growth hormones and antibiotics. Native serum is a fast release protein that is digested very fast and supplies unique qualities. It is a source of branched chain amino acids and glutamine, very important to promote the processes of recovery and muscular development.
3D Protein also includes 45% micellar casein obtained through a filtration process that is carried out at low temperature to keep all the protein's bioactive peptides and retain their qualities while at the same time reducing as much as possible the fat and sugar content.
Micellar casein is digested more slowly than whey, allowing a constant release of amino acids into the bloodstream. As the casein reaches the stomach acids, it becomes a gel, causing it to be digested much slower than the serum. It is a protein that provides a constant supply of amino acids over a long period of time helping to preserve muscle tissue and favor its recovery .
The remaining 10% of protein has been obtained from pasteurized egg whites. When pasteurizing the egg whites, the protein molecules are kept and the other microbiological organisms are eliminated. The eggs are then dehydrated to create a pure egg white protein powder.
The formula has also been enriched with 3 probiotic strains LAB2PRO® which provides Lactobacillus acidophilus, Bifidobacterium bifidum and Lactobacillus rhamnosus . They are friendly bacteria that favor the digestion and assimilation of the amino acids and that support the digestive health.
